The elegance of Nebbiolo in Barbaresco

Barbaresco Camerenda DOCG 2022 by Cascina Carlòt expresses the great winemaking tradition of Piedmont through one of Italy's noblest grape varieties: Nebbiolo.

Produced in limited quantities by a small family-run winery, this is an authentic Barbaresco shaped by careful vineyard work and a deep respect for its origins. Elegance, structure and ageing potential come together in remarkable balance, revealing the refined character for which Nebbiolo is renowned.

Camerenda is one of the winery's most distinctive wines: structured and complex, yet always defined by finesse and harmony, with elegant tannins and an aromatic depth that continues to unfold in the glass.

The winemaker's notes

"Nebbiolo is a grape variety that demands time and patience. When the right balance is achieved between soil, exposure and human touch, it can produce wines of extraordinary elegance, combining strength and delicacy in a way few other varieties can."

— Yuri Stefani

Why we chose it

We chose Cascina Carlòt Barbaresco Camerenda because it embodies one of the qualities we value most in great Italian wines: authenticity.

It comes from small-scale artisanal production, where respect for the vineyard takes precedence over technique and Nebbiolo is given the time and space to express its depth and personality.

A bottle for those seeking an elegant and distinctive Barbaresco, already capable of accompanying a fine meal today while offering excellent potential to evolve beautifully over the years.

The territory

Cascina Carlòt is based in Coazzolo, among the rolling hills between the Langhe and Monferrato, in the heart of Piedmont.

It is here that the family has built its winemaking tradition, working with some of the region's most important native grape varieties.

The Nebbiolo grapes used to produce Barbaresco Camerenda DOCG come from the designated Barbaresco production area, where calcareous-clay soils and a favourable hillside microclimate provide ideal conditions for Nebbiolo to develop aromatic complexity, vibrant acidity and an elegant tannic structure.

The winery

Cascina Carlòt is a family-run Piedmontese winery led by Claudio Mo, dedicated to expressing the character of the region's traditional grape varieties.

The winery's philosophy is centred on producing wines that remain true to their origins through careful vineyard management, low yields and a respectful approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar.

Cascina Carlòt wines express the character of Piedmont through an elegant, artisanal style in which time and terroir play a fundamental role.
