The freshness and elegance of the Thiénot style
Thiénot Champagne Brut is the cuvée that most immediately represents the Maison's style: a fresh, elegant and vibrant Champagne built around the balance between fruit, finesse and energy.
Produced as a non-vintage Brut, it is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, with reserve wines contributing depth and consistency to the Maison's house style.
In the glass, it offers a bright and refined expression, with aromas of fresh fruit and a fine, persistent mousse. On the palate it is round and refreshing, combining lively freshness with a smooth texture and a balanced finish.
Versatile and approachable, it is an elegant Champagne to enjoy from aperitif through to the table.
The winemaker's notes
"Thiénot Brut is a Champagne built around balance. Freshness and fine bubbles meet clean, expressive fruit, while the blend of the three grape varieties gives the wine both roundness and depth. I find it particularly versatile because it manages to be elegant without feeling demanding."

Why we chose it
We selected Thiénot Champagne Brut because it is a very clear expression of an elegant and contemporary Champagne style, combining immediacy with precision.
The Maison's approach is built around three fundamental elements: freshness, purity of fruit and finesse. The Brut cuvée is designed to express these characteristics in a direct and enjoyable way.
The use of reserve wines also brings continuity and depth to the blend, while extended ageing in the Maison's cellars contributes to complexity and integration of the bubbles.
The terroir
Thiénot Champagne comes from the Champagne region, one of the world's most prestigious wine-growing areas.
The Maison works with grapes from several parts of Champagne, allowing the blend to achieve a harmonious balance in which each variety contributes a different characteristic: Pinot Noir provides structure, Meunier brings fruitiness, while Chardonnay contributes freshness and finesse.
This diversity of origins is particularly important for a non-vintage cuvée, whose purpose is to maintain the recognisable identity of the Maison from one release to the next.
The winery
Maison Thiénot is a family-owned Champagne House founded by Alain Thiénot and based in Reims. Over the years, the family has developed a modern and distinctive style centred on freshness, fruit and finesse.
The Collection Origine represents the most direct expression of this philosophy. Each year, the Brut is blended using the best available components to preserve the balance and signature style of the Maison.
The Maison also uses the jetting method at disgorgement, a technique designed to minimise the wine's exposure to oxygen and help maintain very low sulphite levels.
