An elegant white revealing the authentic character of the Roman Campagna

Fioranello Bianco by Tenuta Fiorano is produced just outside Rome, on one of Lazio's most fascinating historic estates.

It is a wine that reflects the winery's philosophy of producing elegant, distinctive wines capable of expressing the character of the volcanic soils of the Alban Hills.

Made from a blend of Grechetto and Viognier, Fioranello Bianco combines the structure and savory character of Grechetto with the aromatic elegance of Viognier. Fermentation and aging exclusively in stainless steel preserve the freshness of the fruit and the delicate aromatic profile of the grapes.

The result is a fresh, balanced and distinctly Mediterranean white wine, with enough character for the table and the versatility to accompany a wide range of dishes.

The winemaker's notes

"Fioranello Bianco is one of those wines that shows how much Lazio still has to tell. Grechetto brings structure, freshness and minerality, while Viognier adds aromatic elegance. The result is a fresh, Mediterranean and highly gastronomic white wine."

— Yuri Stefani

Why we chose it

We chose Fioranello Bianco because it represents an elegant and contemporary interpretation of Lazio's white wines.

It combines immediacy with personality, making it equally enjoyable as a refined aperitif or alongside fish, vegetables and Mediterranean dishes.

It is also a wine that introduces the distinctive style of Tenuta Fiorano, an estate whose history and wines are deeply connected to the Roman countryside.

The territory

The vineyards of Tenuta Fiorano lie in the Roman Campagna, along the historic Appian Way, on volcanic soils rich in pozzolana and minerals originating from the ancient Laziale Volcano.

The proximity of the Castelli Romani and the influence of sea breezes help create a balanced growing environment, encouraging gradual ripening while preserving freshness and aromatic intensity.

These volcanic soils and the Mediterranean climate contribute to the pleasant savory and mineral character that defines Fioranello Bianco.

The winery

Tenuta Fiorano is one of Lazio's historic wine estates.

Founded by Prince Alberico Boncompagni Ludovisi, the estate has developed a distinctive approach to winemaking based on respect for nature and the expression of its unique territory.

Today, Tenuta Fiorano continues this tradition, producing wines that combine elegance, balance and a strong sense of place.
