Softness and balance in an easy-drinking Italian red
Balan Merlot offers a fresh and approachable interpretation of one of the world's best-known red grape varieties. Produced in the northeastern Italian plains, in the areas of Lison Pramaggiore and Friuli Grave, it combines soft tannins, ripe red-fruit aromas, and a harmonious palate.
Pleasant and versatile, it is a wine designed for everyday drinking: generous enough to accompany flavorful dishes, yet fresh and balanced enough to remain easy to enjoy from the first glass to the last.
The winemaker's notes
"It's a Merlot that everyone agrees on. Soft, balanced, and very gastronomic, it's the kind of wine that always runs out too quickly."
— Yuri Stefani

It is a straightforward, generous red with soft tannins and excellent drinkability — the kind of bottle that works effortlessly at the table and is easy to share.
The winery
Azienda Agricola Balan, based in Trebaseleghe, is a family-run winery that has been cultivating vines for generations in the heart of the Venetian plain.
The winery's philosophy is centred on producing genuine wines with a clear sense of place, working with both international grape varieties and those traditionally grown in Veneto. Each bottle reflects careful vineyard management and winemaking focused on balance, cleanliness, and pleasant drinkability.
