The most authentic and ancestral side of Calabrian Zibibbo
The Benvenuto Orange Zibibbo IGP Calabria is a wine that breaks the mold and tells a surprising Calabrian wine story. It is made from 100% Zibibbo grapes, a varietal traditionally associated with aromatic Mediterranean wines, here interpreted through a long maceration on the skins which gives it a completely new character.
A macerated white wine, intense and profound, where the amber color meets complex aromas of citrus, Mediterranean herbs and spices. An authentic expression of the territory of Francavilla Angitola, capable of combining peasant tradition, biodiversity and modern enological research.
The winemaker's notes
"Orange wines represent a return to an ancient winemaking, where time and contact with the skins become a fundamental part of the wine's identity. Cantine Benvenuto's Zibibbo surprises because it maintains the aromatic character of the varietal, but transforms it into a structured, mineral and gastronomic wine."

Why we chose it
We chose the Benvenuto Orange Zibibbo because it is an unconventional wine, capable of telling the story of a territory through an ancient and fascinating winemaking technique.
It is a bottle dedicated to those looking for something different from classic whites: a wine with personality, structure and a strong artisanal identity.
Its complexity makes it ideal for curious enthusiasts, for those who love natural wines and for those who want to discover one of the most original interpretations of Italian Zibibbo.
The territory
The grapes come from the territory of Francavilla Angitola (VV), within the Serre Regional Park, at about 350 meters above sea level.
The vineyards are cultivated on granitic soils, rich in minerals and skeletal material, characteristics that give the wine a particular savory and mineral imprint.
The vines, spur-pruned according to organic principles, allow the Zibibbo to reach full ripeness while maintaining balance and aromatic concentration.
The winery
Cantine Benvenuto was born from Giovanni Benvenuto's project, with the aim of enhancing the Calabrian wine heritage through native grape varieties and viticulture that respects nature.
The winery mainly works with local varieties such as Zibibbo, Greco Nero and Magliocco, interpreting them with a philosophy that combines tradition, research and a deep connection with the territory.
The Benvenuto Orange represents one of the most characteristic labels of the company: a wine produced in limited quantities, unfiltered and obtained by allowing time to build its complexity and personality.
