The elegance of Arneis between the Langhe and Monferrato
Saròt Langhe DOC Arneis by Cascina Carlòt is a white wine that captures the authentic character of Piedmont's rolling hills. Made from 100% Arneis, one of Piedmont's historic native grape varieties, it combines freshness, aromatic elegance and a beautifully balanced structure.
It comes from vineyards in Coazzolo, a small village nestled among the hills between the Langhe and Monferrato, where carefully selected plots provide ideal conditions for Arneis to develop expressive aromas and a distinctive mineral character.
Saròt is an elegant and approachable wine: balanced, fresh and remarkably food-friendly, expressing its origins while remaining vibrant and enjoyable in the glass.
The winemaker's notes
"Arneis is a grape variety that surprises with its ability to be delicate yet full of personality. When cultivated with care, it produces elegant, fragrant wines with remarkable depth and character."

Why we chose it
We chose Cascina Carlòt Saròt Arneis because it represents an authentic expression of Piedmontese white wine.
It tells the story of a small family-run winery, careful vineyard work and a commitment to preserving and expressing the region's native grape varieties.
A distinctive wine for those looking for an elegant and versatile Piedmontese white with freshness, character and a genuine sense of place.
The territory
Saròt comes from the hills of Coazzolo, in the province of Asti, an area situated between Monferrato and the Langhe.
The vineyards lie at approximately 300 metres above sea level, on soils characterised by a combination of clay and sand, creating favourable conditions for balancing freshness, aromatic expression and structure.
Less internationally renowned than some of the celebrated wine-growing areas nearby, this landscape preserves a rich viticultural heritage, where small producers continue to interpret their surroundings through distinctive, artisanal wines.
The winery
Cascina Carlòt is a family-run Piedmontese winery deeply rooted in the agricultural traditions of Coazzolo.
Led by Claudio Mo, the estate cultivates its vineyards according to a philosophy founded on respect for the land and the belief that quality begins in the vineyard.
The winery focuses on Piedmont's traditional grape varieties, producing authentic wines that reflect the character of the surrounding hills.
Alongside the structured and complex wines of the estate, Saròt represents the fresher and more immediate side of Cascina Carlòt's production.
