Traditional Modenese Lambrusco, authentic and irresistible
Solco expresses the most convivial side of Lambrusco. Made from 100% Lambrusco Salamino, it preserves the fruity and fragrant character of the Emilian tradition, combined with a pleasant softness that makes it exceptionally versatile.
Its light residual sweetness is balanced by lively freshness and fine bubbles, creating a smooth, immediate wine that is made for sharing. Authentic, uncomplicated, and unmistakably Modenese, Solco is the kind of bottle that turns an ordinary meal into a convivial occasion.
The winemaker's notes
"It's one of those wines that everyone agrees on. It has the typical fruit of Lambrusco Salamino, lively bubbles, and just enough softness to make it perfect with Emilian cuisine. A bottle to open without waiting for a special occasion, because it creates the occasion itself."
— Yuri Stefani
Why we chose it
We chose Solco because it represents the convivial side of Modenese Lambrusco in an authentic and approachable style.
It is a sincere, pleasant, and highly gastronomic wine, equally at home at a lunch with friends or during an informal aperitif. Its balance of fruit, freshness, and gentle sweetness makes it particularly easy to enjoy.
The territory
The grapes come from the vineyards around Cristo di Sorbara, in the Modena plain, where loose, silty, and sandy soils provide ideal conditions for Lambrusco.
The local climate and soil composition help Lambrusco Salamino develop expressive fruit, lively acidity, and the natural drinkability that characterizes the best traditional wines of the area.
The winery
Since 1926, Cantina Paltrinieri has been one of the historic names of Modenese Lambrusco. Today led by Alberto Paltrinieri, the family winery has helped showcase the character of the territory through wines that combine respect for tradition, technical precision, and a strong sense of place.
