The everyday red that tells the soul of Valpolicella
Nicolis Valpolicella Classico DOC is a genuine expression of Veronese wine tradition. It comes from the heart of Valpolicella Classica, where the area's native grape varieties have been cultivated for centuries and some of Italy's most celebrated red wines are born.
Made from Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara, it is a fresh, fragrant, and harmonious wine that highlights the fruit-driven character and natural drinkability typical of the appellation. Aged exclusively in steel, it preserves its aromatic freshness and lively character, making it an exceptionally versatile wine for the table.
This is Valpolicella at its most immediate: genuine, elegant, and made to be enjoyed with everyday food.
The winemaker's notes
"Valpolicella Classico is one of those wines that shows how elegance does not need concentration or wood. I like it for its immediacy: aromas of cherry, freshness, delicate tannins, and an extraordinary ability to accompany everyday cuisine."

Why we chose it
We selected this Valpolicella Classico because it represents the most straightforward expression of the Nicolis family's winemaking tradition.
It is a red wine built around balance, freshness, and drinkability, while maintaining the distinctive character of its territory. An ideal choice for those discovering Valpolicella for the first time, as well as for anyone looking for a versatile, authentic Italian red to enjoy at the table.
The territory
The grapes come from the hills of Valpolicella Classica, in the municipality of San Pietro in Cariano, one of the historic areas of the appellation.
The combination of calcareous and basaltic soils, a mild climate influenced by nearby Lake Garda, and natural temperature variations helps produce grapes with expressive aromas and a pleasant natural acidity — one of the defining characteristics of Valpolicella Classico.
The winery
The Nicolis family has been producing wine for generations in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, working with the historic grape varieties of the area through careful and respectful viticulture.
Each wine is made with the aim of expressing the character of the territory as clearly and authentically as possible. Valpolicella Classico is the foundation of the Nicolis range, capturing the freshness, fragrance, and traditional identity of the appellation.
